You don't even need to do that to get the files across, just drop them into iCloud Files. Synced and done. You can also connect to shares using 3rd party apps like iExplorer, and that is exposed in the Files app. That doesn't help with Andy's problem directly, as it won't let him slurp in CDs (no iThings with optical, amazing lack of foresight there Apple /s). > With Apple kit, it never has been and probably never will be.
