"DDDUUURRRHHHH! You just connect phase A to phase B, phase A to
ground, phase B to phase C, phase B to ground, phase C to phase A and
phase C to ground! Presto Change-o, you have yerself 240 volts from
120 volts! And it does it all on the *primary* side of that substation
transformer, no connection to the secondary required! So if you feed
that substation transformer's primary with 240 volts you get 120 volts
from the primary, too! And that 120 volts then gets fed to a 120/208
volt electrical system. My magical transformer will never short out
when all three phases are shorted together and shorted to ground!
