Like some kind of article about how to choose a linux distro. I remember something like that. > I'm happy with mint cinnamon. The advantage of Mint is that it is based on Ub which has tons of apps in its repos, partly because of its Deb heritage and partly because there are a lot of Ub developers; another Ub-kin advantage is the myriad .ppa/s developed for apps which aren't in the repos; another Ub-kin advantage is the number of users and helpers to ask questions of or articles to read to get help. I wonder if it is possible for you to figure out what it is that you want that you don't have in your Cinnamon and whether or how it would be possible to achieve it in Cinnamon or some other, such as XFCE. I would encourage you to -1- try Mint 17.3 or 18 XFCE -2- experiment with tinkering with the appearance or other features which you want changed -- Mike Easter
