Aber nur bei Gleichstrom.

So ist es. Glühbirnen werden ja auch nicht als Obst serviert, im Allg. 
taugt Schraubenzieher nicht zum Entkorken und der Zollstock nicht als 
Gehhilfe;-)

Auch wenn der Durchlauferhitzer ein "Gaspedal" hätte, wäre die Angabe in 
Watt. Die Leistung einer elektrischen Bohrmaschine mit Drehzahlreglung 
wird auch nicht in PS angegeben.
Ein Autoverkäufer wird einem Kunden leichter ein Auto mit einem 100 PS 
Motor verkaufen als eines mit 74 kW.
