To clarify, given I didn't explicitly state a position, I am against the 
proposal that we should switch to not wrapping email text. I'm generally 
in favour of format=flowed as this seems to offer the best of both 
worlds (a graceful degradation to the current state of affairs for 
clients that don't support it, and some hints about where it's ok to 
wrap for clients that do) and have made use of Colin Watson's helpful 
suggestions to fix my own configuration to use this.
