Yes, only the crudest imagers dont do that.

Dunno, thats a hell of a lot more than the standard Win7 distribution.

The standard Win7 distribution has that, tho I spose it might include
various chinese versions etc that the standard Win7 distribution doesnt.

No, I dont even chkdsk normal NTFS partitions unless I know
they arent too bad, it can comprehensively stuff up a partition.

It should be fine, you can always do a read only chkdsk to be safe.
