Save it as CSV file, and then parse it.

Microsoft exposes "Excel.Application" as an object you can instantiate
in C++.  You can then obtain interfaces to the various functions, but
it is really complex to get everything just right.

If you want to do it, search for "Excel automation in C" and you
might find some hits.

Much easier to do it in Visual Basic or Visual FoxPro.  Plenty of online
automation examples there.
