No. How do you conclude that? (You do this a lot -- you take a
detailed remark and spin from that some whole imagined position that I
must hold.)

Isn't it? OK. Seems important to me though. Part of the reason I
don't hold the position you attribute to me is because printf formats
are not type-safe and I prefer type-safe constructs.
