You say you want a technical discussion about overflow checking but when someone writes a reasonable well-thought out technical post you reply with nothing but sarcasm. Even if you think what David wrote was completely wrong and misguided you could calmly say why, if not for the present discussion, at least for the benefit of others who might come across this thread later. I also made what I considered to be a technical reply but now I'm glad you simply ignored it. I was going to make another because I think the question is an interesting one but I don't think there is any point. Do you? -- Ben.
