Drill a shaft through the sun which goes through the centre. The gravity from either end increases uniformly towards the centre. At the centre the small g gravity is at a maximum and in balance between the two halves. It doesn't reduce nor change to zero in any part of both halves. At the centre it cannot cause any motion, only on the way down. If a cannon ball is dropped into the shaft and it reaches the centre, the same effect occurs as if it were falling from a height of 100 m to a solid surface: it comes to an immediate halt. It cannot overcome or penetrate the maximum gravity that is at the centre point of the antipodean's shaft.
