FWIW I was surprised when I started using gcc that you needed to use the
'-l' when issuing the gcc command to compile and link a program that used
the math library. I'd taken for granted - from using the 'Acorn' compiler,
I suppose - that just having the include in the program would be enough.
So, easy for one's assumptions to turn out to be unfounded. :-)
