I have discussed the requirements of the C (Pasgol) and Forth virtual machines several times in Rochester, EuroForth and Dr Dobbs papers. It is probably a mistake to talk about Forth CPUs. What we see are silicon implementations of some two-stack architectures in which there is one stack mainly for data and another stack mainly for addresses.
