Of course.  But YOU don't believe the Galilean system you just described
because YOU believe in "the medium."  If the medium is stationary for the
stationary observer, then it is NOT stationary for the moving rod.

And you STILL have not addressed the REAL issue here:  Even without length
contraction, invariant c REQUIRES non-simultaneity between frames.

Of course, you dissemble about "the medium is necessary" but that changes
NOTHING at all.

If your supposed medium were stationary with the stationary observer,
then the path length would be

PL = rAB + v*tB = c*tB

tB = rAB/(c - v)

for tA = 0.  So you are DEAD WRONG in asserting that equation (2) is
wrong.  It is ABSOLUTELY correct for your boneheaded assertion about
"a medium necessary" as well as for the CORRECT physics of SR.  And as
anyone with any mathematical competency knows, equation (3) is likewise
correct.

The problem comes in equation (1) for your baloney.  For the observer
on the moving rod, the path length is NOT rAB because the speed of
light in the rod's frame is c - v from A to B and c + v from B to A:

PL1 = rAB + v*tB = c*tB

tB = rAB/(c - v)

Similarly, the return time is

tBA' = rAB/(c + v)

So you demonstrate your mathematical incompetency by claiming (2) and (3)
are wrong whereas according to your stated beliefs, equation (1) is wrong!
