"People" aren't.

It was only me who said version 2 since that is what I have and use the
most. I have used some newer versions at other places, although I
couldn't tell you what number they were. Those newer versions also
suffered some of the same problems (such as selecting the "wrong"
objects stacked when they are above each other).

PageMaker of course also had faults, especially once Adobe bought it
and started mucking about making it over-bloated.
