which means he didn't use it.

he said he removed it because someone *else* asked him to, and his
reason for disliking it was the difficulty he had in removing it.

how easy or difficult it is to remove an app is not a reason to dislike
something. 

he also didn't follow apple's steps to remove it and presumably did
something wrong in the process. he also incorrectly assumed that the
various components serve no purpose. they're there for a reason and are
required for itunes to do what it does.

very, very rarely. 

usually it's 'itunes sucks' without specifics or they claim that itunes
did something without their consent, which it will never do. 

i've seen people complain that it deletes music or that it rearranges
the hard drive without asking. both are completely false.

it will *always* ask and if the user does not consent, it will not do
it.

in other words itunes did what the user told it to do. disliking
software because it did what you told it to do is a very odd reason to
dislike something.
