i dont know about any of that there is many YouTubers with tutorials on
how to jailbreak that iPad and side-load .IPA files unto it and i in the
past was even able to downgrade the iPad 1st gen to iOS 3.2.2 and still
access bluesky and the like through a bridge and even play YouTube via a
patch i have currently a iPod touch 5G running iOS 6.1.3 and its
jailbroken with quite a few apps i mostly use it to play Doodle Jump and
read classical literature via iBooks i also have a iPhone 5C running iOS
7.1.2 via a tethered downgrade and it works great for most stuff
