then you won't see the bug. obviously, nobody at apple uses postfix to
do that either.

that's the bug. they are ignoring a key feature of postfix, which many
many people use.

flagging folders with unread mail is not the problem.

i'm not the only person in the world who uses this feature, and postfix
doesn't run on my mac anyway.
