Energy density is not the be-all and end-all. There's also tank-to-wheels
efficiency to consider. For fossil fuel vehicles that tends to be around
20% but exceeds 80% for EVs.

Citations:

https://www.energycentral.com/c/ec/comparison-energy-efficiency-and-co2-
gasoline-and-electric-vehicles for the 20% figure, and a 70% figure
electrical socket to wheel efficiency for EVs. The best batteries, lithium
nickel manganese cobalt oxide, have 90% charging efficiency, so 10% is
lost on the way from socket to tank, rather than from tank to wheels. This
efficiency is given at:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_commercial_battery_types

The latter link also establishes the energy density of a lithium nickel
manganese cobalt oxide at 2.1 MJ/L.

Your diesel tank meanwhile has an energy density of 32 MJ/L but the tank
to wheels efficiency is a quarter of the EV's, so what actually gets to
the wheels is only 8 MJ/L, which is less than four times what the EV can
deliver ... and shrinking, since EV batteries are improving rapidly but
diesel tanks are diesel tanks are diesel tanks, a fat, stationary target.

Mining equipment is diesel, not gasoline; your reference talks about
gasoline.

Charging effiency is not the sole efficieny loss for an electrical
vehicle.

Not shown by your half-assed gasoline example; mining equipment is diesel.

No, battery energy densities are not "improving rapidly" and diesel engines
are becoming more efficient with modern computer controls.

Does Captain Obvious know there's a bunch of shit on the other end of

There is a reason women don't do any science or engineering. They only

If a woman is offered a fact which goes against her intuition,
she will tend to reject it outright and, even if the evidence is
overwhelming, she will refuse to believe it. If, on the other hand,

You're describing right wing (i.e. your own) response to facts and
evidence, which to my knowledge is not inherently gendered, but since
men lean right and women lean left on average, does disproportionately
impact ... men.

Nothing wrong with using *which*. To wit:

which (h)wiCH
pronoun determiner
determiner which
asking for information specifying one or more people or things from a definite set.

Women are easily defined as inferior. As for learning about grammar
please read the above definition again.

Gibberish!

PMS is a descriptor for the erratic functioning of
the female brain which, in turn, is caused by the
hormonal imbalance that causes the onset of estrus.
Men all know that female feelings rule her actions
when her hormones are out of whack. Feminists
tend to deny it because accepting it is to admit
inferiority.

This is unbelievable. The ONLY thing that lefty libs can do is spelling
and grammar and "Kensi" falls flat on Zer face! How embarrassing. Zhe
must have been high when posting. Notice that "which" requires a comma
while "that" does not and "kensi" didn't even get that right! Fucking
PH.D. my sweet ass! Dumbass Lefty Journalist!

Shit! No science knowledge, no spelling and grammar knowledge. This is
iron-clad proof "kensi" is a bot! (or well, OK, zhe could be a Canadian
troll)

The Economist conclusion appears to be predicated on assumptions, and is
too close to call definitively. We don't live in a black and white
world. I didn't bother with the other two.

Trying to evade accepting the truth won't work in the long run. Besides,
isn't it obvious? Since the right wing is hostile to women's bodily,
financial, and social autonomy, there is a strong added reason for women
to lean left that does not exist for men, who are advantaged rather than
disadvantaged by patriarchy.

That the voting gap isn't even wider just shows how much social
brainwashing and spousal voter intimidation (or even spousal voter
suppression) is going on.

You've just put your misandry on public display, kensi!

spous·al 'spouz(?)l
adjective
adjective spousal
relating to marriage or to a husband or wife

By definition, spousal can be either husband or wife.

Yours Truly,
Gregory Hall

If a woman stumbles upon a fact that is opposed to her intuition
she will tend to reject it outright and, even if the evidence is
overwhelming, she will refuse to believe it. If, on the other hand,
she has feelings that give her a reason to act in accordance with
her intuition, she will embrace them as the Gospel.
