Less "clean coal" more frack gas. More hydropower from Canada and
windmills and solar pannels from China too. All this has contributed to
economic decline. However(!!!), Trump has ordered more coal washers and
reopened thousands of coal mines and hired millions of coal miners and
tariffed the windmills and pannels big time so this decline will be
nipped in the bud.

Fortunately, also, plus, reporting requirements and monitoring are very
bad for the economy and have experienced budget cuts at the hands of
patriotic conservatives because reportings are the wrong thing. Like
NASA hasn't been totally focused on SPACE!! so this kind of report will
not be repeated!

Do coal washers make pretty good money? I'm looking for a little extra
income.

I thought they paid people to wash it with little brushes and soapy

They could have figured that out by reading Nadsington's posts.

It's not about income in Appalachia coal country. It's about being poor
and rejecting big gummint interference. Bring a scrub brush and a bible.

Meanwhile in China (which produces 25% of the worlds CO2) emissions are
up....

https://www.ft.com/content/98839504-6334-11e8-90c2-9563a0613e56

China, BTW, produces 98% of all the solar cells used.

China also has virtually zero emissions controls, and primarily depends on
dirty (high sulfur) coal fired power plants that have no scrubbers or
filters on the stacks.......

So let's buy lots of solar cells from China, and pretend how we're saving
the planet by exporting, and increasing those emissions, by having the
pollution produced somewhere else.

I read one report where $1 worth of stuff produced in China produces $3
worth of pollution if that stuff would have been made here.

Its momentum is gone.

It is not coming back.

It has become obvious to everyone with a brain that the scare stories
were bullshit.
