Movement of mass, of course, is the evidence of force. Unless mass moves, there is no force. The proof of force, is the movement of mass.

Your point that mass "creates or emits" force is questionable.

Force is not a property or quality of mass, so it has to exist as a separate entity. Force being a separate entity, it is difficult to see how it can be created or emitted from mass.

On the other hand, gravity is the peculiar force which is apparently emitted by a mass in all directions up to infinity, to attract all the other masses in the universe.

I cannot understand the origin or reason for this mysterious force, the way I understand electric forces. The best definition of force is from Leonardo da Vinci, still. He provides divine origin to force - all force - but that effectively stops scientific investigation in this field. I mean, what else is God but what is still unknown that can be known only through Divine Grace?

So I humbly say that I do not know. We have to learn more from the universe, with Divine Grace!

Cheers,

Yes, force relates to acceleration leading to movement, mostly seen as the vibration of the aetheric matter filling the universe.

I will say matter, for mass being a quantity is a property of matter. A certain amount of matter is defined by its average density and volume, and the product of that is mass. Matter is thus more fundamental than mass. Mass is useful in the context of force, for force acts upon some specific mass.

Force is on the whole as tangible as matter. Without force there is no evidence of matter, and without matter there is no scope for force. I cannot put one above the other. It is for dead objects for which force does not matter. For life forms, force matters more than matter, for life derives from force.

Arindam
there are cases that you only see !!
mass
ie
no force is involved !!
ie massin that case is inactive
2
mass and matter are
words !!
to describe the same thing

3
what are the physical dimensions of force ?.....
do you find mass in it ?
so
what is more basic ??.....
TIA

No. Mass relates to a quantity of a given entity, matter; whereas matter relates to quality of a certain kind of entity.

F = ML/T^2

yes

Putting M = FT^2/L makes force equally basic, that way.

Electromagnetic force is that way more basic than mass.

Both are equally basic from the dimensional point of view. Current is defined in terms of force.

Mass is more basic for dead objects, and force is more basic for live objects.

The dimension for energy is force*distance or ML^2/T^2
The dimension for force is mass*acceleration or ML/T^2

===================
ok !!~
so according to you (and not only you ..!!
***that M **
the M k s system of energy
in the ** energy dimensions- is**mass **!!! right ?
so
what is more ** basic**
 1
 energy
2
force
3
 or MASS ??

Arindam
if we have a table
that is **composed** of
say
a plate
and 4 legs
so the question to you is

what is more basic
the table ??
or may be
the 4 legs or even one leg ???!!

Unmoving matter's weight is evidence of the gravity field.

This is a timeless weight...

What about electrons, protons, neutrons? Are they science/physics? If
so, how do they differ from quarks?

i will tell you how
electrons protons differ from quarks

 first of all
quarks are like say 2 fansy hats on your head
while you have hands and legs etc
how about it ??

That doesn't say much.

People may feel familiar with electrons because they've heard the term
all their lives. If so, that feeling is a delusion. An electron is a
theory in physics as much as is a quark. At most, experimental
verifications of the theory are a bit more accessible in the case of the
electron, since particle accelerators are not required.

Sylvia.

3 quarks are supposed to build say the proton
but what can you do
while
the mass of 3 quaks is something like
90 percent of proton mass
so
where is the other 10 percent of mass ??

It's the binding energy. We see the same in nuclear fission. See

When protons combine with electrons they transform in force from electric to the strong neutron. Decay is this reverse transformation...
