No.  Not true. Warmer air absorbs more moisture droplets.  It is almost always heavier even than cooler air, for that reason.

Differnces in air density, convection, and water evaporation can all be
seen in real time with Schlieren imaging, which is simple enough to do
that it is a fairly common sience fair project for children.
