I hear it said that we have no real options regarding North Korean nukes and long range missiles.

I disagree.

We have 2 options. We can do nothing, or we can do something.

Doing nothing has got us where we are today. This is the plan loved by BJ, Loopy and Poor John. But they are irrelevant so let's talk about what we CAN do.

In order of their efficacy:

1) The nuclear option. Nuke the capital city while simultaneously launching preemptive air strikes on command and control nodes as well as troop and artillery emplacements.

2) Assassination. Just kill this fat fuck and his entire staff. (Be sure to maintain plausible deniability)

3) Same plan as #1 except we use a 'Rod From God' instead of a nuke. Total destruction with no nasty radiation to clean up.

4) Continue sanctions. This obviously will be subverted by China. They don't want a free North Korea.

Let us hope that Kim is wrong is thinking that the USAns are bastards, and so
the options 1-3 are not options at all, just the products of a mad and evil
mind.

Fine Adrian. I'll put you into the mix with BJ, Loopy and Poor John. AKA, the irrelevants.

YOU people choose to do nothing. That buys you 'peace'... For a minute.

Meanwhile you give your enemy a chance to arm himself. This simply passes the enemy onto the next generation who will now have to deal with a fully armed enemy capable of lobbing a nuke at you or your friends.

But at least your have your 'peace'.

No way! You're kidding us all! You, disagree?! You're a major nutjob, HVAC.

You HVAC say 2, then you write/post 4. Math doesn't suit you.

Hi! I'm the Loopy One. You may now begin 2ignore whatever else I'll 4ever write.

MAD. Stupid MAD. It's simply Mad mad MAD! Not to be confused with MADD. YMMV.

One guy/leader does not a nation make. Heard of TrumpET?

When was the last, if ever, you even visited any Korea?

Define free. Go ahead. You can speak in your fancy English Language. I'll wait.

Irrelevant Loopy here. One, thanks for noticing. Two, You HVAC sound like any Xwife.

Would it kill you HVAC if you couldn't dream about me Me ME?! Let us pray.

HVAC, you're a desperate barking dog seeking attention. Got Rod of God in your mouth?
FYI, Enola Gay Hanger doesn't mean@all what you HVAC are thinking it does.

HVAC, did you just discover your quotes keys? Woof woof WOOF... Bark!
Your childish, high school level dropout education is no 'piece' of 'peace.'
Speaking of irrelevancies, hey which high school kicked you out? Year?

Speaking of TrumpET, who loves Stupid People, Putin says he didn't do it! EOS.

Yes, I categorically deny ever having traveled to North Korea.
I do love Korean cooking/food. Do they really eat dogs? Hot dogs?

With Protesters/Polizei like those in Hambrug, who needs Terrorists.
You gotta love it when Germany doesn't have to outsource the terror.

Apology accepted. You can't help it, you're hopelessly lonely.
Ever heard of the acronyms {MAD, SAD, GLAD, GOD, EOS, ...}?

Btw, WTF do raining nukes have to do with Physics?! OffTopic! Hugs?

Most of all, you didn't answer a single question I asked of you, HVAC.

The last time I was mad on Usenet was when I tried discuss Andrew Wiles' 1993
proof of FLT (1637). Not to be confused with FTL. Go ahead, look up the 2 acronyms.
Some jerkOff in sci.math got mad at me for questioning Wiles' NYT write-up.
Finally I pointed out to the said jerkOff, I know If is a big word for

You happy now, jerkOffHVAC? Got college, its name, the years you studied?

I suspect the reason the Roman Empire lasted a thousand years, whereas the US Empire is looking to last just 200 years, is that the Romans knew energy constraints, that they had to rely on (2). They could not afford to be sending armies out after the bad guys, everytime a bad guy appears. So they specialized in (2).

Now, for some reason in the 20th century and onwards, (2) is frowned upon. Maybe it is because Democracies have some squeamish aversion to it. Maybe elected people feel that is out of bounds and they would be targeted themselves. Maybe people feel we just outgrown that course of action.

But consider that Rome lasts as long as it did because of (2), year in and year out using (2), somewhat like the book I Claudius.

But consider the world of the past 100 years if (2) had been an active tool. Perhaps Hitler, perhaps North Korea before 1950, perhaps Vietnam, and perhaps Iraq War, and perhaps the war in Syria.

The USA has a special forces for something like going after Bin Laden, but what about a special forces like that of the Romans using (2).

So much can be learned from Roman History about (2), and no-one has really analyzed how politically crucial and vital was (2) in allowing Rome to rule for a 1,000 years. If the Romans could see history in the past 200 years, they would be scratching their heads as to why the USA sends in thousands and thousands of troops, when all that was needed is one or two well placed persons.

In many many cases, (2) is the best way to go. Many of the world's problems are caused by just one or two rogue people, and it is crazy for the good countries to be spending billions on sanctions, sending in armies in the thousands, when the problem are just 1 or 2 persons.

Is it that countries that are good and are Democracies just abhor (2)?

If you want lasting peace for Pax Romana, that lasted 1,000 years, you need that economical and efficient, highly efficient tool of (2).

Of course, do not talk about it publicly, and have it always Top Secret. But why waste billions and billions, when the problem is just one man who is a bad dictator. Get rid of him and you have a whole brand new bright day to look forward to. Certainly, do not talk about it publicly. Keep it Top Secret, and the reason we have Secrecy, for a (2) is the upper reaches of Top Secret.

Assassination attempts upon Alexander did not work for Darius (actually
Dhariya-jash or holder of renown).

A democracy that believes in assassination as a national policy imperils
each and every one of its citizens.

Failed assassination attempts are pathetic, too.

Now I never learned what the reason was for Alexander to go around conquering, warring and fighting. Was there any good thing to come of Alexander's wars? Or was his motivation, plunder and steal? Was he making civilization better, or was you just causing havoc? So that leads to whether it was good to get rid of Alexander.

I mean, who could stomach a modern day Alexander.

> A democracy that believes in assassination as a national policy imperils
> each and every one of its citizens.
>

Think that one through, for you forget that one person is imperiling the entire world. Your ideas are too idealistic.

> Failed assassination attempts are pathetic, too.

Now a modern day brush up on the Roman method of (2) is in keeping.

For instance, we can have a UN type trial and jury, where preponderance of evidence is only needed, not beyond a shadow of doubt.

So these facts.
(1) NK leader kills his brother in Malaysia
(2) NK leader tortures and causes death of Otto Warmbier

With those facts:: jury poses sentence that NK leader be forcibly captured or ....

End of story

What is pathetic is this planet has nearly 8 billion people and that one of them is so rogue, so imperiling all the other people on this planet, yet 8 billion foolishly languor and idle by while the rogue starts WW3 nuclear.

Even idealists like you Arindam, has a moral obligation to put a halt to 1 man causing so much harm and damage to all the rest.

If Hitler had been preempted it would have been better for the world, than to let one bad apple spoil so much of the world.

Bad and Good are always in a tussle in this world, but the worst is to let 1 bad make the world awful for everyone else.

That needs no deep thinking, needs no back and forth arguing, needs no idealisms. It only needs a minimum of action by the 8 billion to nip in the bud the 1 bad apple.

So, what exactly was the goal of Alexander? Was he just a fame seeking killer of many? Or was his warring doing the world any good?

Those who could stomach Clinton, Bush1&2, Hillary Clinton, Obama... all great
mass murderers far worse than the NK kid.
And before that all the great 20th century killers: Stalin, Mao, Hitler,
Churchill, Truman, LBJ, Nixon...

No, they are highly practical. Today USAns pretend to be Canadians when abroad.
All anti-Jew countries are out of bounds for them.

That way the entire US Govt should be tried and shot for their infamous
mass-murdering policies all over the world.
Point is, the US cannot get rid of the NK kid.
If they could they would, no doubt.

Fine, let us start with the US politicians. Catch them and try them for their
crimes against humanity.

He is not doing even 0.001% of the harm done by US all over the world.

Why just Hitler, why not Churchill, Stalin, Truman, Trotsky, Bush2 etc. etc.
along with Einstein, Gandi, Marx, etc. etc.

The point is that assassination is a bad idea. It creates feelings of
revenge. And that goes on from generation to generation, creating wars and
violence.

One has thus to be in the pocket of the arms companies in order to encourage
assassinations.

The assassination of Archduke Ferdinand started WW1 which led to WW2.

Have Westerners learnt nothing at all from that event?

Indeed, so it is of the greatest importance to get rid of all the bad ideas
started by Einstein et al. And go for the new and great idea of mine, that
will give humanity unlimited power and faster than light travel.

Cheers,

> If Hitler had been preempted it would have been better for the world, than to let one bad apple spoil so much of the world.

This is the typical kook/hippy mantra. Blame the USA.

*I* prefer our Western culture and society. *They* prefer a caliphate with Shira law. *You* prefer to live in fantasy land with physics that allow ftl travel.

You seem to be very angry with your life circumstances. Either that or you're drunk a lot and tend to blubber.
