The US Constitution orders the government to provide for our common defense. Daesh/ISIS is a clear and present danger to the safety of our country. Therefore, I call upon congress to declare war on Daesh and authorize any and all steps necessary to destroy them utterly. Install a general to oversee this operation and give him wide latitude to prosecute this war as he sees fit with a minimum of micromanagement from the white house. Civilians will die in this operation. Collateral damage is unfortunate yet unavoidable to some extent. Also note that we are suffering civilian casualties now in France, Mali and NY City. If we see a group in Mosul celebrating the attacks in Paris and shooting their AK47 into the air, why isn't that a legitimate target? We need to get real here and drop this pc bullshit. Muslims should be profiled at airports, train and bus stations. Muslims should be tracked during their day to day activities. Mosques should be observed for any subversive or terrorist behavior. We must treat Muslims as Nazis. We must marginalize their religion in our country. They must be made to feel inferior to normal people because they are. You may ask why we should single out Muslims but the answer is obvious. "But Harlow, not all Muslims are terrorists!". True, but all terrorists are Muslim Islam should be deemed to not be a religion, but a terror group.

That's right H&V, gas chambers for Muslims. They are all subhuman,
right? We kill rabid dogs, don't we? You get to kill the first one. I'm
sure you can find a Muslim school near you to get the ball rolling.

Yeah, that's it, H&V. Go on a Jihad to kill all infidels! You can start
with me. Use the events of your heroes in Paris as your model.
You seem pretty rabid to me. No wonder you stay anonymous.

Prove it.
Yep. Another lie.
Oh, that's right it's a "classified" open book.
Oh I've got the clearance to read it, but just not the "need to know",
it seems.

You are going to roast in Hell. No, wait, that doesn't exist. You are
going to create your own punishment! Yeah, that's more like what we all
do. But you nutjobs are especially good at it. Good at taking as many as
you can with you as well.

Turn *all* so-called refugees away. It's their country going to hell in a handbasket, it's *their* duty to fix it, *not* ours. They might even have an easier time of it if we don't "help" them as we've been doing. I have a simple two-step plan to eliminate that "help". 1. Close *all* of our overseas military bases permanently; ship everything home that we can, and walk away from what we can't. 2. Cease *all* of our overseas military operations *except* those directly fulfilling current mutual-defense treaty obligations. When the treaty runs out, the operations end and our troops come home. The only extraterritorial operations we should be pursuing are Naval patrols to protect shipping, and air patrols and satellite missions for intel. We have no business "projecting force" for political or economical purposes; we never did. What do we do with all of the troops, dump them on the job market? No, we Eminent-Domain a fifty-mile-wide strip of land along our north and south borders, and turn them into military reservations. Relocate the evictees preferentially to cities on the inner edge (they'll become boomtowns). Barracks, admin, and so on are on the inside edge, the outside edge has a *four-foot* chain link fence with signs in every major language explaining that the rest of the fifty miles is a live-fire testing and training range a la the Barry Goldwater Range in AZ because that's what it will be (gotta have some place to expend that fiscal year's military procurements). Any survivors will be treated and trucked back to the outside. We don't really need most of the current Army or Marines since we won't be habitually putting our boots on others' ground. We don't really need most of the current Navy because we don't really need, as I said, to "project force". We don't really need most of the current Air Force, either. However, we have people who want to do that, so let them blow shit up real good where nobody will get hurt- wargaming with live ammo. Put video on the internet. If people still want to come here because home is hell, their "refugee" status gets them no special treatment; they have to go the citizenship route whole-hog. Learn the language(s), the history, renounce all past affiliations and loyalties, and swear in. Otherwise go back home. Period. (The immigration system needs serious overhaul. It should be much more open, but *probationary*. You make progress, or you get kicked back out. Deportation should be due only to probation violations like failure to learn the language etc., or commission of a felony [*not* misdemeanor].) Oh, and all aliens found inside when the doors slam shut must either go home on their own dime, enter the citizenship path, or they'll be forcibly put on the other side of the border of their choice. Period. There's more, but that's the bones. Mark L. Fergerson

In fact, I say, keep your hands off their country: stop the proliferation of weapons, stop the bombing, allow the situation to cool down, and let that money go to the refugee camps on the borders instead: for blankets, food and schools. However, you *are* supposed to give shelter to those who have no place to live; not least so that they can heal and be put into a condition to eventually go back and fix their country. What do you think would those refugees think who come to the Western world because they seek freedom if you turned them away, forced them to go to a country where they are not welcome or return into a country where they have to fear for their lives every day? Would they become more susceptible to the terrorist mindset or less? You have a chance here to make things better and you do not seize it. No, they're the words of someone who's tired of the consequences of his country's insane foreign policies. I don't want to be a citizen of "Team America: World Police". "Anti-social" must be your private code for "doesn't want to be a citizen of 'Team America: World Nanny'". "Egotistical" is not applicable since I'm not bragging myself up. "Sanctimonious", well, pot-kettle-black. "Asshole" means you're one of those who didn't want to hear it. Fine with me, stop reading my posts. To claim rights exist that we are not willing to fight for is foolishness. If by "inconvenience" you refer to the inescapable fact that some of the alleged refugees are covert agents of Daesh, then yes, that's why I have a problem with blindly taking so-called refugees in. Refugees moving from point A to point B does NOTHING to change things in point A for the better. Never has, never will. I'm what you might call a Fundamentalist Buddhist. The Buddha taught that suffering has causes and is avoidable by avoiding the causes, and that resisting tyrants is preferable to suffering their whims. Yes, regularly, that is why I object its being hijacked by people with their
own political agenda. It was just this one posting that I did not want to
let go uncommented, and I set F'up2 so that the rest of the discussion would
not happen in *this* newsgroup.
> You should have figured out that this was going to be a political thread
I knew it was a political, completely off-topic OP, which is why I objected
to it in the way that I did.
> before finishing HVAC's first line.
“HVAC” is a troll for posting that here, plain a simple.

Get yourself informed about the meaning of “Followup-To”, googlodyte.

You are confusing cause and effect.

I tried to follow my own rules, but frankly, you braindead idiots are not
making it easy as you are continuously ignoring the strong recommendations,
made both in words and technically, to continue posting about this elsewhere
(if you must post about it).

What are you blathering about? This thread has nothing to do with physics.
It does not belong here.
Now get a brain or get lost. *PLONK*
