Because, simply put, how you are posting is indicative, and what you are 
posting are the words, of an anti-social egotistical sanctimonious asshole.

You are not thinking clearly.

Nobody said you were supposed to fix their country.  In fact, I say, keep 
your hands off their country: stop the proliferation of weapons, stop the 
bombing, allow the situation to cool down, and let that money go to the 
refugee camps on the borders instead: for blankets, food and schools.  

However, you *are* supposed to give shelter to those who have no place to 
live; not least so that they can heal and be put into a condition to 
eventually go back and fix their country.

What do you think would those refugees think who come to the Western world 
because they seek freedom if you turned them away, forced them to go to a 
country where they are not welcome or return into a country where they have 
to fear for their lives every day?  Would they become more susceptible to 
the terrorist mindset or less?  You have a chance here to make things better 
and you do not seize it.  Coward.

Human rights of other people do not become void when they become 
inconvenient for you.  You wish to share your values, convince others that 
they are good and should be lived by?  Learn to live by them yourself first!

And will you *please* keep politics outside?  This newsgroup is about 
*physics*.
