But the universe is apparently NOT half matter and half antimatter.  Why 
it isn't is one of the big still-unsolved mysteries of physics.

You never did give a good explanation for:

1) why don't we see lots of 511 keV gammas from annihilation as 
interstellar gas/plasma from the matter/antimatter arms encounter each 
other?  Remember, the negative electrons and positive positrons will race 
to each other to meet their doom.  Same for protons/antiprotons.

2) What about the center, which both matter arms and antimatter arms 
touch?  If it's matter, why don't the antimatter arms annihilate with
the center, and vice versa?

3) What about galaxies with an odd number of arms?

4) You claim (falsely) that matter and antimatter repel each other.
If that were true, what holds galaxies together?
