I heard this as a puzzle once.  Let's say we have faster-than-light
communication with an approaching spaceship from another galaxy
that wants to pay us a visit.  How could we tell if the spaceship
is matter or antimatter by asking the approaching alien to do some
experiment or tell us the results of a previous experiment, before
he encounters us and possibly blows to bits?

Remember, if he is antimatter to us, to him he's matter and we're
antimatter...  we can't ask to measure the charge of an electron
since the charge assignment was originally arbitrary and he only
has his local (anti?)matter as a reference.

Unfortunately, I forget the answer.
