It's far from clear what you actually think you're achieving. Unless 
you're using a telescope to check the positions of the planets, all 
you're doing is checking that the predicted orbits of the planets are 
the same as the predicted orbits. Well, of course they are.

If a planet deviated from its predicted path, that would soon be 
noticed, but by people who look at them, not by you.
