I'm reminded of a bit from a radio "morning crew" skit - set in an IKEA 
type store:

Salesman, in thick scandahoovian accent: Unt ve call dis one de 
Snerkinsnorgen - it's one of our most popular items!
Customer: What's that word mean in english?
Salesman: <starts on what's obviously going to be a long drawn-out spiel>
Customer's buddy, over top of blabbing salesman: "Looks great in our 
showroom, looks like ass in your living room."
