It's about an elderly gentleman who is quite active on internet, but he
loves to click on every file and link he receives, yet he pay his bills
online - hence the linux is installed on his PC.

He has a very weak heart.

I am looking for any linux mailer, or mailer's scripting trick, or other
application which will initiate a mailer to send an alert message to
couple of addresses if he doesn't respond to application's call within a
given time frame.

Please, does it exist ? For ex. mailer's pop-up dialog which he'll have
to hit and close within 10 hours after it shows up on his screen. If he
doesn't hit OK button, an email message will be sent to couple of his
relatives to check up on him.

Has anyone ever heard about such a mailer or other application ?

I am not a programmer, so I am unable to code anything similar, but I
hope there is an application or a mailer available which can do that. I
have meager knowledge in bash scripting.
