A fisherman found it. The authorities here at the time were very friendly with the Nazis, being fascists themselves. So the Nazis got a secret peek at the sealed papers before returning the body and belongings to the British Embassy people. I think the tomb in Spain now has the true name of the person. Not sure about this, maybe he was taken back to Britain now that the history is public, and honoured as a posthumous hero? -- Cheers, Carlos. ES🇪🇸, EU🇪🇺;
