Hello!
In my very old upgraded Debian Wheezy/stable box, I can read my old
school 3.5" floppy disk(ette)s but it can't write. From what I searched
online, I need to do some hacking with my configurations files like
/etc/fstab. KDE v4.14.2's Dolphin automounts and shows me the data in it
but doesn't let me delete, format, and other write activities. With
sudo, I can erase files but not write like:
$ sudo echo > test
-bash: test: Permission denied
$ df

Mount shows: /dev/fd0 on /media/floppy0 type vfat (rw,nosuid,nodev,noexec,relatime,fmask=0022,dmask=0022,codepage=437,iocharset=utf8,shortname=mixed,errors=remount-ro,user)
I don't know if those are correct or not. What am I missing? Thank you
