That's true for Dell (and very likely others) too. For example, a Dell Inspiron is consumer-class but a Dell Latitude is business-class and there's a big difference in quality and product longevity. My three Dell Latitude C610 circa 2002 are still running perfectly today as is my Dell Latitude D600 circa 2004. HP's consumer-class products are basically junk and generally have flaky motherboards plagued with MLCC (multi-layer ceramic capacitor) problems. Their business product line is a world-apart which is why I have two HP dc5850 and HP dc7900 small-form-factor desktops running CentOS, OpenIndiana (Solaris 11), and FreeBSD. Thad
