Could be.
I'm staying out of it. Looks like a few of the crybabies KF me anyway.
Let's see how long it takes for them to
start talking about me and replying to my messages via proxy.
Too bad for them that I'm an independent thinker, form my own opinions
based upon observation rather than having a mob mentality and following
along an incorrect premise based upon false accusations.
Most of them had very little positive to say anyway.

With that attitude I would say that you are indeed a troll

There were very few false accusations by linux advocates

Depends on your own standpoint

So don't read them.
I happen to find your posts utterly boring which is why I skim them and
move on.

And I don't spend much time here anymore. Overrun by trolls.
Other venues are better places to discuss Linux. And I have a lot
of code to work on.

irc.freenode.org is usually the spot where you'll find the free
software advocates.

Well that's the game they play.
They get to attack and say anything they want about me and as soon as a
respond by defending myself they point to the post and claim "see we
told you so" even though the truth is I haven't attacked anyone.

It's a childish game

I can only speak for myself and I have done nothing wrong nor have I
attacked anyone.
I was attacked and I'm going to defend myself.

Correct.

sMelzzz is already treating you like a troll for expressing an
unpopular opinion. Apparently, the "advocate" version of freedom does
not include freedom of opinion, freedom of speech or freedom of choice
unless that choice is between distributions.

I'm laughing my ass off watching them pile on claiming some sort of
victory like a kids game.
I see the replies via proxy have started already. That was certainly an
easy prediction to make.
It's something weak people do because they haven't the skill nor the
inner fortitude to confront their opponent directly. And I'm not even
their opponent although they, as a group, have conjured up false stories
to convince themselves that I am. As the saying goes they are short on
facts and large on bullshit.
They would have been great back in Salem Massachusetts circa 1692 or so.

I'll make it easier for him: I attacked him because he attacked me
first. Without any evidence whatsoever, he called me Snit on my
arrival in this newsgroup. Without apologizing once it was clear that
I was not him, he went on to claim that just about any line I write is
a lie.

Yet you defended the lying imbecile no matter what. Snit could claim the
worst bullshit, the biggest lie, you defended that lying swine

Small wonder that many people thought that you were in fact just another
extremely nasty sock of that imbecile

LOL

Poor baby "Slimer"

"He called me Snit. Wahhhhh wahhh wahh!"

Jesus, what a silly son-of-a-bitch. Reminds me of Trump
crying about "it's rigged".

That is quite true, and certainly was in the beginning, when this
asshole called me a "pedophile".

It doesn't matter one whit if he is "Snit" or not. He tried to hit
below the belt from the very start.

And now he whines.

Fsck you, and the horse you rode in on, "Slimer".

Indeed, that shameless, rampant, ridiculous fscking liar claimed that
he was justified in calling you that, because you called him a liar.

Oh, what a "crime". How "paranoid".

Slime vigorously-supported the thing's trolling.

Peter Köhlmann claimed: "I have hardly talked about [Snit]" during October,
when I did not post at all.

You lied. Period.

They accused me of being snit as well. I never attacked anyone though
and I certainly do no not support snit in any form or fashion. All I did
was make a comment about a bug and didn't snip all of your comments.
Sorry but I'm not going to fight the battles for the less than strong
people around here. They are on their own. And I am an independent
thinker, don't fit into their group speak, mob mentality where they
follow each other around spewing "atta boys" all day long.

Let's see if they honor their KF'ing me and completely ignore my posts.
I suspect it won't be long before I'm included in their discussions
about trolls, which is what they seem to enjoy discussing.

The entire mentality is hilarious! If they only knew how immature and
foolish they look to an outsider such as me.

BTW I think you've misjudged Peter Kohlmann. He just has a very low
tolerance level that's all. He really did write that BIOS code you know
so he is a programmer.
