I'm > using Android 4.4.4 so there is no App Ops settings page. I remember using that SMS Sent Time app in the old days, worked fine then but no more. I guess an SMS app with built in support could fix this and I vaguely remember trying to propose it some devs with no success. Today I use Pulse but I don't remember if there was anything wrong with the stock one on HTC 10. I do like the developer and use his Twitter client Talon as well. Thankfully this date mess in SMS messages is mostly not an issue for me these days but stupid nevertheless.
