I was new to Android when I bought a Nexus 10 tablet a couple of years 
ago, but had little difficulty in finding my way around it. I 
subsequently bought an Android phone (the Moto G 2nd Gen dual SIM) which 
behaves in much the same way, apart from the extra functions needed by a 
phone.

But my wife has got an iPad Mini (not the latest sort) and I struggle to 
find my way around that! For example, with Android, there are 3 icons at 
the bottom, the right-hand one of which displays all open apps and lets 
you switch from one to another or turn off any you've finished with. How 
the hell do you do that on Apple devices?
