     Well, then we get to the question of "How different should names
be in order that non-native readers won't confuse them?"  And perhaps
we might consult the Java API itself for some guidance.  Therein, I
find two classes named AclEntry, two named Action, two named
AlreadyBoundException, two named Annotation, two named AnySeqHelper,
two named Array, two named ArrayType, two named AttributeSet, two named
AuthenticationException, *three* named Attributes, *three* named
AttributeList, *four* named Attributes ...

     ... and that's only the A's. It's clear that Oracle expects a
Java programmer to be sensitive to differences a good deal subtler
than Color vs. Colour -- for good or for ill.  But that's what name
spaces are for, isn't it?
