Yes but I think asking for a tutor from this Newsgroup was a sensible
way of qualifying the tutors. The fact that they subscribe indicates
that they are interested in Java and probably want to be helpful. The
OP can check through the posts from the applicants to see the level of
Java knowledge and their skill in explaining it.
