Doesn't mean that they aren't paid to /think/.
Questioning (not /rejecting/) recieved wisdom is part of that.
I would not care to hire, nor even use software written by, someone who didn't
want to know the whys.
And anyway, I doubt if anyone here is being paid to take part in this
discussion.
