Yes, and we still are way better than the USA.  Medicaments are about 17%, 
so even though they are about twice as expensive as in other European 
countries, this does not raise the overall costs.  The health expense in 
Germany is about 10% of the GDP, in the US it is close to 20%.  Yes, when 
looking at other countries that have higher health costs in the OECD, I find 
very few:

But the US system is so grossly inefficient that even German's bad system 
shines like a bright star.
