How do you imagine I can require that of my students? They install
Gforth from somewhere, and the run it. If it is not there on startup,
teaching them to reliably type "gforth student-setup.fs" or something
is going to cost about as much time as teaching them about "1." in the
first place, and is equally unproductive.

Are my students the only newcomers we are expecting in the Forth
community? My students at least have me to ask why their program that
uses "1." is not working as they expected; many others are on their
own.
