Yeah, I learned just enough google to figure that one out for myself.

The point was clearer in my head than I conveyed in the text; sorry
about that. In short, while I understand that there are going to be
differences between versions (and that the "Original K&R C" is very
dead), I don't particularly care what version of C a textbook was
written for; so long that it serves the purpose I stated -- that is, to
refamiliarize myself with the language, and get back on my feet in terms
of C programming.

In (hopefully) a few months, when the immediate goal to refamiliarize
myself with writing C is sufficiently close to completion, I can
intelligently ask which version would be better to focus on.

That is what it sounded like from the others, so it's what I'm going
with. We'll see how on track I can stay.

So far I haven't run across that, but I'm only in chapter 1 still.
Working through slow / rereading the sections a few times so that it
sticks.

Honestly, a lot of the syntax is already starting to feel familiar
again. But I've only read through ยง1.9 so far ... really have to go
back and do the exercises -- kinda hard to do them on the bus.

Yep, I think grabbed a copy. I got about to the second page.
