No, 0 has one and only one type, and that type is int.  In:
    double *p;
    p = 0;
0 is a null pointer constant of type int, and it's implicitly converted
from int to double*.

A null pointer constant is not necessarily a constant, and is not
necessarily of pointer type.

The standard's definition of "null pointer constant" is clear and
unambiguous.  It only becomes confusing if you assume that it must be of
pointer type.  (It also is neither, holy, nor Roman, nor an empire.)
