Which is something C++ has and I wish C did as well.  Proper named 
constants remove the need for weakly-typed enums.  As an embedded 
developer I really would like to see something like C++ strongly typed 
enums in C.  There are plenty of use cases where specifying the 
underlying type of an enum would be useful in embedded C.
