As far as I can remember, it's been installed plug-ins, fonts and canvas, also some uses bugs in browsers which may allow them to access either cookies or visited pages. > So I'm just curious about what's being used this week. Today's browser fingerprinting is much used to figure out a persons interests and then server matching advertisements, as if you are interested in cars it's more likely you would buy some car accessory than lipstick. The more they know about you, the better they can market products to you. Google has the great advantage of reading your gmail and using their super cookie to track you online too... of course google needs money to stay in business, so not strange they try to be the best advertisement provider. -- //Aho
