At the first glance it looks like you are located somewhere else than
you actually are, fingerprinting will still give the same result as
without. Some plugins/extensions may not use the proxy (depends on how
they work), but could make a direct connection.

The VPN will enforce all traffic to use the same route, but it will not
make you anonym as you still will provide the same cookies and
fingerprint results, so it's still possible to figure out you are you.

Sure you can combine things, just makes your setup more prone to fail,
specially with free services which do not always have a good uptime, but
for the anonymity will make small difference.

Go for a browser that is made for anonymity which do not allow canvas
fingerprinting and you will be more anonym than using some free services
which tend to not work that well.
