If this is a quote from Einstein, he seems to contradict himself:

1. "No men of science," he replied, emphasizing the last word, "were
against the theory."

2. "Even the physicists who opposed my theory ..."

unless he is claiming that "physicists" are not "scientists" or that
their mere opposition to his theory had rendered them "non-scientists"
-lol.
