This is built, I understand, from the published sources. There is no
equivalent "rar" that is free to use. However, for openSUSE, we can get
"rar" from the packman external repository.
Notice the difference in the versions reported:

The only problem with using "rar" in Linux is that it doesn't support
Linux filesystem attributes and permissions :-(
