I use TBird for mail, not usenet, and it doesn't have a problem, nor does 
Pan for news. I have Verizon wireless and in the browser I sometimes see 
'your connection has been interrupted'.  I believe it's the Denver 
interface shuffling IPs rather than the 4G signal. 

It's a feature, not a bug. My external IP changes frequently and usually 
shows me in Denver, sometime SLC.
