   really badly want to get RID of all that
   (and there ARE some legal aspect for
   hardwire in the USA, like QUICK repair).

   But the alts SUCK.

   Oh, TBird, set 'mailnews.tcp.timeout' to 10000
   instead of 1000. We'll see.

   It works pretty well during the day, but I'm
   more on a "third shift" schedule - note when
   this was posted  :-)
