I'm thinking that since Neon isn't particularly 'loaded', it may have few or none actual snap packages installed. I seem to recall that the default Neon might have flatpak, so all one would have to do would be 'get rid of' snap, which isn't all that hard and just use non-snap packages, apd and flatpak if desired. I'll dl and then boot a current Neon and check and see if there are any snap packages in its default and dump snap and see if everything is OK. -- Mike Easter
